I feel so clean!
I was baptized this passed Sunday. I’d been working
up to this for 6 weeks with the classes and the readings and going through the motions. I’d set forth
at the beginning of the year to do this and it’s finally finished. It was such
a happy day. I was so nervous and scared but it all worked out. Both my parents
came; my dad dressed up which is huge. No bow tie, but still he looked nice. My
grandparents, my Aunt and my twin sissy came as well. I had my lovely sister in
law Gypsy sharing so much love and support. I was able to look back at Gypsy with her mother and they gave me thumbs up. It was reassuring knowing that I had
my family, and even friends, backing me up.
On arrival I noticed I was the only person dressed
in a t-shirt and shorts. I was told to dress in something dark and didn’t mind
getting wet. I was soon told that I was the only person, out of 5, getting
baptized at our service. This made me even more nervous. Sitting through sermon
I could barely pay any attention knowing that our Pastor was soon going to be
calling me up. Gypsy took some great pictures of the service and wouldn’t you
know my nervousness showed through with wet pits going into the tub. It’s quite
funny but a bit embarrassing as well. I just hope no one noticed. Our pastor was great, as was the assistant pastor, whom I took the classes with. Afterwards he says, "It's always great to baptize a Georgia fan"...hehehe I wore that shirt for him knowing he is a fan.

I so love you and am grateful to be a part of your walk. Loving you, sister!
