Reading a Book Taking a Dump, No Matter Why Aren't You Working?

Previously I've spoken of a co-worker who's always in the restroom. Today it's really annoying me. I went to the restroom this morning and she was in there. She quickly made her way out, only to pass me going back to the restroom, on my way back to my desk. As I passed her she said "going to try again"...UM WTF does that mean? If it means what I think it does then I could really care less. I thank you NOT to tell me that.

A couple hours later, because I've been so busy today I've held my urge to pee, I go to the accounting lady's office to run some postage FOR bathroom lady! I pass bathroom lady as I'm on my way to accounting's office. I can only assume she's on her way to the restroom. So, as I'm running her mail I chat with accounting lady for a bit about how this woman is erking my nerves always in the restroom. Apparently she just sits in there and reads a book! AGAIN does she have nothing to do at WORK where she can sit in the restroom and read a book? I don't have that luxury. I'm busy! And she is sitting pretty in a nice office.

When I was finished chatting with account lady, I was multi tasking running the mail, getting fedex envelopes for a bunch of fedex's I'm doing and I was going to run to the restroom. Don't get weird I don't take my mail or anything into the stall with me, that's gross. In the restroom I noticed bathroom girl in HER stall. Of course she was in there. In her stall with her, she had a bottle of water and a couple of small packages. I'm so annoyed today I wanted to throw something at her.

My Journey's: Some Are Just Insignificant

I had a couple of dates that were pretty insignificant. Okc "C" took me to a Zac Brown concert. We had floor seats. It actually wasn't bad. It wasn't all that fun either. The chemistry just wasn't there and my back started killing me (because I was on my feet for way too long) so we cut the concert short. Too bad, I'd liked to stay had it been with someone I could relax with. And if we'd had seats.

Then there was okc "B". We met at Grindhouse. The BEST hamburger I've ever had. And I'm really not one to go for hamburgers. The date was rather boring. I did most the talking and he just did a lot of staring. I tried so hard to make this date lively. They were even hosting trivia, which he opted not to play. So, I said, "well I guess we should go, if were not playing trivia what's the point in staying". He was really tall.

Then I met a guy on one of our opposing teams in kickball. Another "real boy". "Z". He started talking to me at the after party. We'd had quite a few games of flip cup (lots of drinking). He was pretty hammered. Still, he mustard up the ability to get my number and when he said he was going to call me the next day he actually did. To both of our surprise. We'd scheduled to meet at a Tin Lizzies, it was packed so we moved to the Ivy (coincidentally I'd been wanting to try). When he walked up I thought, "Oh shit he's one of those" in his khaki shorts, white button up and boat shoes. The date went on and it was nice. I found out he was younger than my baby brother, which is typically NOT my dating criteria. I know it shouldn't matter, but I don't think there was any chemistry anyways. There were no attemps of further communication afterward. My team however loved to give me shit about him every time we saw his team. I never saw him at another game though.

Today's Elevator Experience

Myself and another fellow get on at LL (that’s Lower Level). Two people get on at 1. Another person gets on at 4. 1 person from 1st floor gets off at 5. Person who got on at 4 gets off at 6. Other person who got on at 1 gets off at 10. Fellow I was initially on with gets off at 11. Tara gets off at 12.

The best part about this elevator experience is, when person got on at 4 and pressed 6, the person who got on at 1 to get off at 5 said to him “Are the stairs working yet”. HAHAHA! Sorry if that was confusing.

I've been doing A LOT of elevator riding lately. So the particular story above was just sitting in my "drafts". Last night's elevator experience was even more annoying. It's 5:00, time to get out of here. I get on the elevator, it stops at 10 and one person gets on. Easy enough, but then we continue to hit floors on the way down. UNTIL we get to floor 8 and I swear they we're playing "lets see how many people we can get on this elevator game". People would NOT stop piling in. I was thinking when is this going to end. Me being the FIRST person on the elevator was cramped in the back against a corner.

I hate elevators.

Is Facebook for Friend Finding, Networking or Online Dating?

It started off as finding old friends. Then networking. Now dating? I've been asked out, via facebook message, twice now. Both guys I'm friends with but can not remember them for the life of me. Since when has facebook been an online dating site? I mean as you all know I got nothing against dating sites, as I've been part of one for (a little) over 2 years now, but on facebook? I don't know if I can get behind this.

One guy I let down gently. Regrettably later, he just would not get the hint and now I have an inbox full of odd to creepy messages. Ignoring him doesn't even do the trick, he continues to write me. Against majority of my friends advice, I have yet to delete and block him. Facebook love finder #2, I haven't replied to yet. I'm contemplating whether or not I should just ignore the whole thing. I respect the balls this guy has for reaching out, but I just CAN NOT.

On another note, I think I have a date tomorrow night. Via okc, turns out we have a mutual friend and as you do I looked him up on fb. He seems alright so we'll see how it goes.

My Journey's: It Hasn't All Been for Nothing

There was okc "J" okc "A" and okc "RY". Those I actually liked and enjoyed hanging out with. What happened is unimportant, it just didn't happen. "RY" has been the only person I didn't put an "okcupid" in front of in my phone. "A" turned out to be not what I expected, but for a quick minute I liked him.

I also made at least one friend long the way. "T" was my first okc date. He took me to a super secret spot where you had to have a number to get in and you entered through an old time phone booth (Prohibition). Turned out it wasn't all that secret, but it was a good time. He went to bar tending school so he always knows a good drink. We still chat and get together from time to time. Last October we visited a creepy cemetery together. Thanks "T" for hiding behind trees to freak me out. Weird fact, his sister is married to one of my ex's best friends. Neither of us knew this until a couple months ago.

So, it really hasn't all been for nothing. Had some crazy stories. Met some interesting people. And made a friend or two along the way. Okc has been worth every last penny not spent on it.

Elevator Rendezvous: Part II

OMG you guys, today when I went down to get the mail, off the elevator, I ran into a very attractive man. A plus, he was holding a motorcycle helmet. Never mind that it was yellow (the most retched color of all colors).

Anyways, I got the mail and when I came back he was walking towards me. He asked for my number so he could take me out on a date!

Then I woke up and realized I was day dreaming.

My Journey's: If You Don't How Can Anyone Else?

This one was just sad in so many ways. For starters he winked at me. He was not in my filtered categories so a warning comes up to let me know. He is 25 and I tell okc that I'm not interested in anyone under 28. I shouldn't of responded but I guess I was suffering from the desper-ato's and he was cute looking.

"M" got my number and wouldn't stop texting me. I'd had previous plans the night that he wanted to hang out so I suggested he meet me at the bar. After thinking about it he finally agreed. Honestly I could of cared less. I was with friends, but he finally showed up as I was at the Juke box. He stole one of my songs. We sat down and chatted for a bit. He'd asked me if I'd checked him out on fb. I had, but I didn't tell him that. He asked me if I noticed anything about his pictures. I'm like no not really. Then he tells me he has a son. Which is totally fine, but I think that's something that should be brought up BEFORE you agree to a date. So, he goes on and on and on about how "it" was a mistake and he doesn't get along with baby mamma. Well good to know thanks "M". We played some pool and by this time I was a bit drinkie so I didn't mind too much that he was all over me. I was with my sister so when she was ready to go I went.

"M" really liked what he saw and wouldn't stop texting me. I'd come down with a bit of a common cold, so I wasn't able to do much. He was texting me asking me to come out to his neck of the woods (back ass of Roswell) for dinner. I said I couldn't because I was sick. He didn't care. If I couldn't go to him he wanted to come to me. To my place. And watch a movie. I wasn't into this idea. For one I was SICK! Two I just don't like the idea of dudes I don't know (nor care for) coming to my house. So, fine I agreed to go to (back ass) Roswell to meet him for dinner. After dinner he wanted to sit in the parking lot and chat, because he lives with mommy and daddy. Again one of those  and I really wasn't feeling all that good. I sat with him for a while on his truck. He kept trying to make out with me and I kept pushing him away. Eventually I did get out of there and didn't respond to any of his further texts or calls. I feel bad for ignoring him, but in the end he seemed like he didn't want his son and I thought that was sad. I don't want any baby mamma drama and he acted his age.
