No really I guess this is
a good thing. We've all evolved why shouldn't Jem do the same. Move with the
times if you will. Jem’s come a long way from my grandparent’s playroom where
she met her demise against my sissy’s head.

Out with the Old in with the New
So...apparently they've gone and changed our childhood Jem! Taking
her from sluts and glam to sleek and modern. I for one am outraged.
Why take a good thing and change her? What kind of message is that sending our
youths? Alls I gotta say is bitch better still have the light up earrings (by the looks of it she don't).
I’m more mad that when I Google “Jem” all the
new 2012 dolls come up and not the vintage Jem we all grew up with. How am I
supposed to avenge her death and have my sissy’s head forgive me now? Not to
mention she’s being sold for well over $200! Bitch is too expensive. I don’t think so Jem. I don’t
think so.

Ginger and Roman
Say herro to our new
buddies. Myself first sighted them at a local antique store that we frequent. I
thought they were, obviously and unmistakably, interestingly adorable! So they
have only one leg and their hair is messed up!? They are precious. They were ridiculously
priced at a high $18 bucks a pop and I just didn’t have the monies to
purchase them at that time. As you do, I took a picture of them and sent them
to my sissy.
Weeks had passed and they
hadn't escaped my thoughts. It’s like they were mine the moment I saw them.
Not at all expected my sister went to the antique store last week and they were
still there! So, she purchased them (on sale).
Big smiles all round. Friends and family say they’re creepy and make fun
of their one leg as well as hair. We were told we spent too much for them
and that the store should of paid us to take them. Still I love them and I'm so
happy they’re home.
